Week 1

Why did the Titanic hit on iceberg?

There's abundance of stories or facts about the sinking of Titanic back during 1910's. It was a tragically encountered in 14 April 1912 where the Titanic crashed on the iceberg. I personally think that the reason for this tragic to happen was the reflection colour of the iceberg. We are so used to the white and snowy iceberg but then it can be as blue as the sea because of the reflection of the water surface and some chemical reaction based on the interference of the surroundings and perhaps it was fated. Who knows..

What is this object of curiosity? What does it do? How and why?

I'm not sure of what is it but with my wild guess, it should be the table leg's cap. It is useful in preventing the floor from any scratches by covering the table's leg at the bottom.
